Jurate Girdvainis lives and works in Lithuania, Vilnius. She is a MA student at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts and a former resident artist at Funen Art Academy, Denmark.
Undeclared socio – cultural criticism is important to me, I talk about (diss) ability to maintain balance, loss of it in ever – changing situations, about the conflict of trying to live up to the unwritten expectations of “being in modern society”.
